'Drawing a Line in the Sand' - Dubai-Style!

April 6th - 12th / Dubai, UAE

On April 6th thru the 12th, cousin Bobby III and some friends of his ventured to the United Arab Emirates country, where he landed in its most populated city, the international hub Dubai.

He engaged in activities such as Sandboarding, sledding, skiing, and camel riding there. He tried the city's native food, consisting of the hot pastry appetizer Samboosa, the traditional rice dish Machboos, and classic Arabic bread Khubz while sporting the country's traditional Kandura outfit.

He and his crew traveled throughout the beautiful city, capturing the elegant nightlife on a cruise ship, visited the grand Dubai Mall (the world's largest), and took shade underneath the world's tallest building, the Burj Khalifa, amongst other recreations.

"Prior to the invitation I did not think much of the city. But, after my week-long visit, I loved every bit of it and look forward to going there with my family, hopefully next year!"
